    Department of Food Technology from School of Biotechnology aims to provide academic programs as well as research for undergraduate and graduate students in order to meet the demands of high-quality human resources in the industry.

Food Technology programs have developed significantly in many countries. Currently, there are only 4-5 universities in the Southern area that provide Master’s degrees in Food Technology with 10-30 students/university/academic year. Most of these programs are taught in Vietnamese. Therefore, Master of Food Technology in International University is designed for those who wish to develop and expand their knowledge and skills in English, so they can have chances to work in professional environment.

  1. Career orientation and development:
    The program will provide up-to-date knowledge about food processing and preservation technology, food product enhancement, innovations in food processing technology, new product research and development; management, consulting on nutrition, quality, and food safety.

The program allows students to access to in-depth knowledge in many disciplines so as to develop the processing industry and post-harvest technology of Vietnamese agricultural products: Innovative Technology for New Food Product Development, Post-harvest Technology; Food Nutrition and Food Safety.

The program is designed to meet the needs and demands of the actual needs of current society for well-qualified employees, promote cooperation with businesses and focus on the developing products for the society.
